Memories

Met up with our cousins from Canada today, as our aunt(their mum) passed away at the beginning of the week.

They had to grab the next available flight over, landing at Gatwick, then no flights up to Edinburgh, so had to get a train. Not a pleasant trip for them.

Not good circumstances to see them again, none the less, it was good to catch up.

There will be no funeral as my aunt has dedicated her body to medical science.

In these circumstances it makes you think how important family is, and no matter where in the world they are, to make an effort to keep in touch.
