Gift of a Lotus Box

A wonderful gift from a very artistic friend. This box is made of mostly myrtlewood, with redwood on the top. He is a very talented craftsman and I was in awe when he lifted it out of the box it was in. Each piece is precision made with a special tool. He finished it especially for my birthday. It is a treasure.
