Late afternoon zoo trip....

Apparently the zoo closes at 4.30.

We rocked on up at 3.40.

They had stopped admitting people 10 minutes previously, but, thanks to our membership cards, we were allowed in.

It was then a crazy half hour of running round, animal spotting - which helped keep us warm, as it was bloody freezing!

The penguins were getting fed, the flamingoes were nowhere to be seen (their pond was frozen), the hedgehog (aka the porcupine) was hiding, and we didnt have tickets for the pandas. So, that'll be the penguins then!
