Cheated out of a season

Beautiful, warm, April-like weather lately. Which would be great If we were anywhere near April. The trees are budding, flowers are in bloom (as seen above), and while that's lovely and makes for a pleasant walk at lunch, it just seems a bit unnatural. Where is the snow?! It seems we have been cheated out of winter this year, but for a few flurries and a handful of cold days.
