Roughlee waterfall

We had a drive to Roughlee this morning, which is a little village near the bottom of Pendle Hill.

There was a boating lake behind the area of the waterfall at one time and around
75 years ago young people from the surrounding mill towns used to walk there on a Sunday afternoon after church to meet other young people.
It is still a popular meeting place.
