amaizing stuff

I love sweetcorn. What I wish they would do in the uk is make tortilla 'kits' with maize instead of wheat.
When I went to Venezuela we used to visit the same outdoor roadside eatery every day and stock up for our packed lunches with things, that I can't remember the name of, made from maize flour and stuffed with meat and veg . We also ate one there along with a big bowl of 'fruita mixta'.
Heaven.
My mouth is watering at the memory.
