Battle of Nantwich
On my boat this weekend and popped into Nantwich to enjoy the annual reenactment of the Battle of Nantwich.
The original battle, during the English Civil War 1642 - 1646, was fought 25 January 1644 and the Parliamentarians (Roundheads) beat the Royalists (Cavaliers).
Despite the cold it was a very colorful spectacle.
