ice ice baby

I just couldn't resist this. It's frozen water in a large ornamental vase in my garden and I love the shapes in it.

It's cold here today (now there's a surprise! :D) and it's been hard to work up any enthusiasm to go out, even though it's been a sunny day, but go out we did! OH walked down to Westward Ho! where the outside swimming pool and all the rock pools were frozen. I had a wander around the village looking for inspiration for today's blip. I didn't even notice the vase until I got back home! :)

We are now back at home after food shopping and I am looking forward to a warm and very lazy evening that might even feature a glass of wine or two! :)
