Wired Beech

Not sure why I decided to use this as my first Blip photograph. The contrast between the adaptability of the tree and the carelessness of the farmer is quite striking. Is this an example of resilience, the ability to adapt to a external constraint? At some point in the future that wire may damage a chainsaw, but how damaging is it to the tree today?
