Strand
I headed down to the island of Burray today and walked out to another island (there's a causeway!) called Hunda.
Milky-blue skies with a cool breeze, very good walking weather. Near the farm of Littlequoy two very noisy collies came racing up, but they were very friendly.
This is more of a bird-watch walk than photo one for me. In the Sound of Hunda were 3 Slavonian grebes, great northern divers, an Iceland gull amongst others. Walking the north shore to the village I saw a few seals, a peregrine and a kestrel with a poor wee Orkney vole.
Also this departed starfish.
