UCLBP

The temporary offices of the UCLBP with my computer and bag in the foreground. This new unit is meant to be the government housing counterpart and charged with developing reconstruction guidelines for rehabilitating existing damaged neighborhoods, developing new settlements to rehouse earthquake affected families, and rebuilding the administrative corridor downtown. Not to mention trying to coordinate and make sense of the chaos that is the multitude of reconstruction actors/projects/funding in Haiti. And navigate the complexity of Haitian politics. I love how informal the office is (considering their hefty mandate) and the positive practical attitude of everybody there.
