The calm before

the not gig.

Just before midnight, screen 1 at the lovely Cameo is turning into Japan for the night - well the Fuji Rock Festival to be precise. A one off screening of the first live recording of a Chemical Brothers performance: DON'T THINK.

Time for a quick caffeine boost before picking up some refreshments for the not gig. Hard to tell what it'll be like, a live recording of a Chemical Brothers set played back in a cinema....hmmm. Anyway, better get that order in for some nice Montepulciano d'Abruzzo to keep me going through it.

Depending on the atmosphere and how it goes, I'll maybe try for a blip out of the show. I know, I know, but check out the official blurb and tell me you wouldn't be tempted.

Don't Think captures the synaesthetic barrage of sound, visuals and light, and the transforming effect it has on its audience.
