Bubble Bath

Tonight I treated myself to a wonderful bubble bath with candles..the whole works. It has been a busy 2 days and the kids have behaved really well. They both had good days at the sitters and were just behaving so well.

I was really impressed with Connor tonight. We went to McDonalds for dinner as a treat tonight and Connor got a little car with his Happy Meal. There was a little boy about 2.5 years old that kept asking Connor for his car toy. Connor behaved quite kindly towards the boy despite the boy badgering him for the toy. At one point he kindly replied to the boy "Your Mom has said you can't have the toy, remember? Sorry!" I'm so proud of him and very pleased that all that I'm trying to teach him is sinking in.

When it was time to go both kids told the new friends they were playing with "Bye, I have to go now." and went and put their boots on straight away. This is a pretty big thing for me as most times when it is time to go I get much resistance, whining and crying. What great kids!
