Rustic Red

I have no reason to photograph this but I did because I go past it so often and think that it would make a lovely shot. Each time thinking should it be in colour - showing off its rustic brick charm or age it by using antique? When I did finally shoot it none looked right so black and white it is.

It is 35 degCelsiusus right now and right outside the window next to me is Jake, my cat, lying on the kind of cool concrete next to the water bowl. Above him, on top of the fence are two Starlings and a Turtle dove waiting for him to move so they can get a drink .... he knows this; I can almost see him chuckling.
