... well the Beachcomber part of it anyway for the Feb challenge.
When we lived on the Isle of Lewis I used to stop at a pebbly beach just past the airport on my way home sometimes and pick up lots of small pieces of driftwood. They got dried in the warm bottom oven in our Rayburn stove and became the kindling for the stove and the open fire in our living room. Often I would pick up some shells and some 'sea glass' too. The 'sea glass' looks great on the top of plant pots as a sort of decorative mulch round the plants.
I have added a little arrow to the map pointing to where our house was :-)
The beach souvenirs in the blip come from Lewis, Islay, Skye, Iona, Mull, Orkney (including Hoy), Argyll, and even Carnoustie !
