Gently down the stream

Frost flowers

There was so much I'd planned to photograph today - there's a Saturday market in Winchester, a couple of opera singers at the Buttercross, a guy on a unicycle and a few hundred people crammed into the High St.. But in the end it was so white frosty when I woke up, I just got up, grabbed the camera and took it down to Winnall Moors.
Spectacular. Everything coated in ice. Raking sunlight and blue shadows. An exploded bullrush (I nearly put that one in, maybe I'll go back for it another day). Two pairs of swans.
But in the end I went for this, just because I loved the shape of these skeletal seedheads. Hope you all have a brilliant day. x
