Turks Head

This is one of 2 Turks Head's {knots} that Mike made for my crutches when I managed to break and dislocate a metatarsal and and get a spiral fracture of another metatarsal 3 years ago, all done by tripping/slipping on the duvet/quilt.

What scared me most at the time was that this was Monday 3rd November and the previous week I had got the all clear from the hospital after a second spinal operation!!

These knots now sit in a bowl along with a few wooden fruits and material lizards.

Mike was in the Royal Navy and he used to enjoy tying knots.
