Took Jnr 2nd and his friends to see a live recording at Studio 1 (MK Channel DSTV) of a band called "VanCokeKartel". It is a local Afrikaans band.

We dropped them off and went to the mall, just a block away, called Brightwater Commons. We had a seafood platter at Ocean Basket, watched the musical fountains and then Mr Snippets had his steak at another restaurant before we left. Fish is not "real food" you see... not filling enough for him :)

The Brightwater Commons boasts the most spectacular musical fountains on the African continent. Over 1 000 nozzles weaving spectacular patterns, up to 30m high, and utilizing more than 300 000 watts of lighting - all choreographed to music.

Perfect chance to experiment with a slower shutter speed, the blips came out great :)
