Frozen sea

What a beautiful winterday!
No early sunrise for me today, I had my mind set on a sunsetphoto.

I went to the harbour of Delfzijl to see the frozen Eems/Dollard. A beautiful sight.
Never before I had walked in that area, but today I could do that with dry feet (I hoped). Although I heard the most frightening creaking sounds below my feet, I went on and captured a lot of flakes of ice and had a great time.

As for the early sunrise.....tomorrow 05.00 am another dawnpatrol is planned.
