A suprisingly relaxing day
Football training was called off today due to the cold which meant that instead of hauling my sorry behind out of bed and rummaging for my thermals to be able to stand on the side of a pitch I made a cup of tea and went back to bed!
The children and I stayed in our PJs until 10am which is almost never heard of and greatly appreciated! We made pain au chocolats for breakfast and then trotted off into Rustington (geting dressed first!) to go to the library and so that Bear could meet with a couple of friends for an hour. Ian, Kirsten and I amused ourselves by eating cake in Costa!
This afternoon was way to cold for a walk so we decided to drive me to the foot bridge across the River Arun in the vague hope that there might be something blippable! Lucky this chap was perched in exactly the right place at the right time. Also saw some Green Sandpipers on the exposed mud banks but they were just a little too far away and a little too mud coloured to make a worthwhile blip!
