Walking on water!

Every lunch time when I'm a work I take myself off for a quick walk alongside the canal for a breath of fresh air and to wake myself up! Yesterday I went and the sun was shining, blue sky and a family of ducks were walking on the ice in the middle of the canal....it would have made a great blip....but I didn't have my camera! Today I went back with said camera...it was grey, overcast and not a duck to be seen! These moor hens did their best!
