Sissinghurst

The Elizabethan towers of Sissinghurst castle seen through the bare trees. I go through Sissinghurst to collect Calum from the engine shed at Rolvenden - it's a lovely little Wealden village with half-clad buildings along the High Street. The castle (which isn't a castle at all) is famous for the wonderful gardens created by Vita Sackville-West and her husband Harold Nicolson in the 1930s.
