Well what a strange Saturday! After last night's gorgeous sunset woke this morning to snow - not much but enough to make it look pretty.

Unfortunately I was feeling pretty grotty after a disturbed night due to an annoying rattly cough and the start of a cold.

The temptation to stay in bed was strong but I had to go to school this afternoon for the children's disco so forced myself to get up and out in time to call at a local garden centre for some lunch.

Strange isn't it that garden centres are now so frequently a destination for food? Anyway, lunch was duly consumed and I had a wander before continuing on to school. Couldn't resist buying a container of Primulas. Lovely harbingers of spring with such gorgeous markings.

The disco went well by the way!!

Oh and no more snow. Yet!!!
