To See it & Remember

Petting Bluebell

After the severe weather warning we woke up to blue sky and sunshine and not much of a frost. So decided to drive upto Barnsley and see my good friend Marie. She took us to Cannon Hall Farm, where we had a wintry walk, looking at llamas, donkeys, cattle and sheep. In the sheds at the bottom were new born piglets that were just so lovely. There was also a petting shed full of rabbits and guinea pigs, where Victor got to stroke Bluebell, he was being very gentle until he tried to poke her in the eye. I think his favourite thing of the day was watching the tractor gritting the carpark!

We were going to stay all day but just after lunch the clouds thickened and the flakes began, so I thought it best to make a hasty exit back home. By the time we arrived the garden was covered in a thick white blanket. I can't wait to build a snowman with Victor in the morning.
