Sebago Lake Ice Fishing.

A serendipitous stop off whilst driving around Sebago Lake. At first I saw lots of markers out on the lake and I thought " Dog Sledding" aka Iditarod but that was very fanciful and imaginative. What a silly city slicker. It turned out that the ice fishermen were setting up their elaborate stations with huts and warmers.

So, having recently been comforted by a convenient 'port a potty' I was in extra high spirits and enjoyed the chat of an 89 years young local gent. My friend spoke about earning $3000 picking blueberries last summer and was thrilled to report that his wife loved her new Kia.
It was a fabulous chat looking out on the ice and the mountains beyond.
