Mum & Dad are caravanning at Quorn station on the Great Central Railway this weekend. I drove over to see them this afternoon & was hoping loiter on the platform & take some steam engine photos. The snow had already started to fall and the trains were running way behind time so I guessed when would be a good time to leave the warmth of the van & dash out in the cold.

Keeping snowflakes off the lens proved a challenge, even when keeping my back to the snow and the train shot by, barely pausing to let passengers off. A dozen or so shots later & off it went.
