Shrek-tacular!!

Well today we ventured through to London to see Shrek the Musical at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

I thought that was quite apt in itself that Shrek is played at Drury Lane, as that's one of my favourite bits in the film - "do you know the muffin man that lives on Drury lane?!"

Anyway, the show had many stars, but for me, Kimberley Walsh from Girls Aloud was fantastic. So much better than I thought she was going to be from her pop days.

Fantastic show for those that saw the film and those that haven't- there's something for everyone!

Then we walked along Waterloo Bridge to Strada on the Embankment and had a lovely dinner.

Only to find it was coming down thick and fast with snow when we came out!!

Long story short, engineering works, bad weather and problems on the track resulted in a 50 minute journey to 2.5 hrs! Pretty scary but glad to be home!

All in all a great day, looking forward to playing in the snow on Sunday!
