Dad's New Toy

The birthday boy decided that he would trade in some of his old camera equipment, and get a DSLR to play about. I didn't know until the deal had been done. An older model, but at least it's a Canon and we can talk the same language. Thankfully a manual was provided.

A first lesson this evening on the various settings, so he's gone home with a lot to think about. Glad that #1 managed to pop over for an hour in between sessions at the Alpha Conference at Glasgow Uni. He was there at 6 am to start the set up, and doesn't expect to be home until after 2 am.

I cooked dinner, started with a glass of fizz, followed by turkey soup, Italian Beef Casserole, then birthday cake and coffee. Just finished clearing up, so getting my Blip in ten minutes before the midnight hour.
