Petallic Droplets

Oddly productive day today! My mother had threatened to visit, so I spent the morning frantically cleaning. When she canceled at noon, I decided to go for a 5-mile walk and do some financial "housecleaning" before going to meet her and my dad for dinner. They'd DVR'd the first 2 episodes of the new series of An Idiot Abroad for me, so I got to see those.

They invited me back for their Superbowl party tomorrow, but I think I'll stay in with some homemade kung pao tofu and Downton. I mean really. I can barely stomach college football; the NFL bores me to tears.
