My next acquisition? It sounds so haunting.

Today was made fun with a scramble band session. Those willing to participate wrote their name and an instrument to play on a piece of paper which was put into a hat and names were drawn at random to form musical groups, anything from a trio to a septet. Obviously there were both kinds of dulcimers and some had come prepared with other intruments: ukuleles, guitars, fiddles, whistles, banjos. I had claves and a jaws harp . . . our group was lucky and included a fiddler. So, I played claves to St Anne's Reel.

There is a concert each evening. Bing Futch topped last night's bill and the headliners tonight were Paul Oorts and Karen Ashbrook.
