a burst of sunlight

Having eagerly anticipated a stunning feast of snow and sun, I found it to be mostly dull with misty clouds over the hill tops. However, just as I approached this summit cairn a shaft of sunlight illuminated the eastern side. I only saw two other people out on the moors, one of which was out with his camera, and what a big lens he had!
