Patterns in the ice

The edges of the lake on the business park are frozen; as the water level has risen above the wooden boards that mark the lake bubbles of air float up from the flooded banks. The bubbles in the ice heat up quicker that the ice resulting in holes in the ice. These haven't got warm enough yet. There are lots of small bubbles but the ice is still clear enough to see the detail in and below the water - even the top edge of the wooden board.
