Strollin'

Listening to the news this morning, they said that some drivers had been stuck on the M40 overnight. So I must have planned yesterdays trip just right. Not one for risks, I wouldn't have gone out anyway if I though I was going to get stuck in the snow on a motorway. Why would you?

Up late this morning (8:45 is very late) as I decided not to race the cyclocross event this weekend. Can't get the car up the road anyway - we live on a hill. So it was an easy day. Thought I ought to get a blip to record the snow, so I went out for a walk. With quite a bit of snow, there were masses on people out sledging, and snow boarding(!?). Got a photo of them doing a 5 foot jump off a ramp they had built, and many scenic shots. But nothing really captured the moment, until this couple strolled past...

I thought my boots were water proof, but alas I ended up with very went feet, especially after sometime clearing the drive, path and road, in the hope that I might be able to get the car out for work.
