Tangled

Went to see the Harry Papadoupolos exhibition this afternoon. Would loved to have seen more as he must have taken thousands of pictures but there were some great memories of the sound of young Scotland.

Of particular note were the pictures providing an intimate record of Edwyn Collins as he matured.

Afterwards had a wander along to Fopp and was served by your stereotypical arrogant record shop sales assistant - it's not even a real music shop anymore with it's tell-tale HMV stickers.

Bought a Whiskeytown re-issue and a Peel Sessions reference book.

Sad when I think that that street used to have the best record shop in Scotland with staff which included members of Orange Juice even though I really can't remember Mr. Daly selling me anything.

Name that shop...

Update on new camera - it's sitting in a Royal Mail van in Edinburgh waiting to get delivered. Van better be locked up that's all I can say!!
