Chooks Away

Still thick snow around these parts, so after a stroll to the shops I got out the snow shovel and cleared a runway for the poor chooks.

Nobody actually achieved flight but leon worked up a sweat trying and wee spikelet nearly ran straight into the camera.

They do seem to enjoy company/ tolerate an idiot with a shovel & camera.
