All about the way you look at it
On the one side, I had a pretty boring day. Drove 4 or so hours from Boston to New York just to return a rented car only to wait 2 hours on the taxi way because of weather.
On the other side, there was less traffic than expected so thanks to frequent flyer miles we spent 2 hours in the crown room lounging with free drinks and snacks, giving me a chance to get a lot of photo editing done. Then, some of us got upgraded so my dad gave up his first class seat to me. For some reason I persisted to sit in the 2nd row instead of the 3rd row so I traded again with my mother. Next thing I knew I was sitting next to a Google employee who does a lot of exactly what I am interested in, learned a lot, and now I have another connection. A perfect end to an educational business trip of sorts. Best part of all, he was considering buying an SLR so I taught him all about avoiding the SLR mistakes I have made.
Unique perspectives: More of a way of life than a cool camera angle.
Constructive criticism is always appreciated.
