Yet another Malvaceae (globe mallow)
These are everywhere in Albuquerque right now. There are at least two different species, both orange, frequently right next to each other here in the big Q. Go out of town to the north or south and there are more colors from lavender to red. They are delightful flowers. Note the mondadephous stamen (the central stalk within the flower). The demonstrates there close relationship to the Rose of Sharon featured in at least 2 different blips.
