Kentmere

What a glorious day, looking forward to seeing all your blips. Arrived in Staveley in the South Lakes for short walk with friends up through the delightful hamlet of Kentmere, along the Garburn Road and back giving us just over eight miles. Christmas lunch was booked at the Eagle and Child and was a great success. Some folk didn't make it t the start of the walk, but met us at the pub - all in all a perfect day of walking, talking , eating and even a glass of wine thrown in. Best of all my back held up well, something I wouldn't have believed possible only two days ago ! Too many pics to choose from, but finally went with this one, kind of summed up the day. Hope you've had a good weekend whatever you've been up to :)
