Pink

I saw this sight from my bed this morning - the dawn light (about 8 am in these parts) on the mountains opposite Firbush. The Ptarmigan Ridge, they call it. I'm sorry, there's no way that this captures the incredible delicacy of the sugar pink frosting on the snow, but it's the best that I could manage.

The rest of the day involved a lot more yoga for some of us, whilst others went on the loch in kayaks and others went up the mountains (the ones in this picture, in fact) to learn about avalanche avoidance and crampon skills.

By the time we'd got back to Edinburgh it seems that we'd missed a huge overexposure of blippers this afternoon!
