The difference between a premiere and plumbing

This is what stood between me and attending the blip film premiere today. I does not look like much, in fact it is about one inch and a half thick but it was preventing a soon to be delivered replacement dishwasher from being installed. Given the cutting edge exitenc e we lead here, we had a two to three hour window of opportunity to remove the confunded thing.

Old Conchita, the dishwasher who has served us well (apart from the last year or so) was removed after multiple McGyver style manoeuvres and the extraneous facia was hammered in two, yes the lines of glue were all that was holding it in place.

So now we await Gretschen, for she is a Bosch dishwasher, on Tuesday. My poor hands shall be so pleased to meet her, it is rather sad.

So no premiere, but one thing which has been waiting over a year to be done was achieved. Old Conchita, you were the weakest link.
