around here somewhere

One of the many faces of the Severn

I have a tendency to spot faces in the reflections along the waterline, but this one was impossible to miss. They change according to the seasons and the level of the river, so it is often possible to find something new. I'm also intrigued by the big tunnel that is the mouth of this face - if I'm being prosaic I'm sure it's a Victorian storm drain or something similar, but with the town being so long-established it's easy to imagine tunnels and catacombs beneath the town centre, home to who knows what.
