Water Caves

Our first night in the new tent together, and it went pretty well. The kids even slept in, kind of.

And then time to get up. Adam lit the stove, and the kids made tea. Bliss!

Then breakfast and up to see the water caves a few minutes upstream. We left the tent and headed off, literally in our jandels and underwear, well the kids did ;-)

Fun place and we spent an hour or so exploring.

Then back to the camp, lunch, and time to break camp. Sadly for the kids, they were keen to stay another night. Next time.

And then a relatively quick walk back, around 2.5 hours, mostly downhill which the kids loved ;-)

Overall, a fabulously successful weekend and lots of great family time together. However, great to be back in a real bed tonight!
