Back to the pond (.Looks good in large)

Snow going fast.

Didn't realise that this duck had something in it's beak until I down loaded it onto the laptop. Not quite sure what it is. There was plenty of food out for them.
They are looked after by one of the villagers who lives by the pond. He collects different species and so this isn't a proper wild duck.
(I think it may be a Hooded Merganser. Does anyone know?) If I see the gentleman sometime will ask him what they all are as there are several different species.

I love the water reflections too in this shot.

Hope you have all managed to stay safe in the icy conditions. Lots of accidents in Yorkshire, and A1 closed for hours.
Very glad we have'nt had to use the car today, although it is just slushy here.
