tree desecration

Took a walk locally today and I was amazed that where a road runs through and on each side is a wooded area, they have lopped trees and left a large area of mud. They have dug a huge hole and looks like a new pipe installed for the area but they are working with machinery on the other side and I just couldn't guess what they are doing. In this weather it all looks so dismal except for part of a stream which must run right through so this is my blip for today.
