*makes whimpering noise while covering mouth*
"what was that, Max??"
*holds Max to ear and listens intently*
"are you sure Max?!"
*listens again while nodding with understanding*
"mummy - Max says that he thinks it's time for him to have a cookie now - but don't worry, I'll help him with it...."
