Whiter than White
Well that seems to be a foolproof method of helping your black and whites to come out crisp and clear. Stick your CF card in a forty degree cotton wash with a non-biological cleaner, a splash of fabric conditioner, and finish off with a 1200 rpm spin cycle*. I'm sure those white's are much whiter now, although that might be down to it having been an eye-searinlgy bright afternoon today.
Ok, it wasn't intentional (again) but it doesn't seem to have down the card any harm. Left it to dry out overnight. Plus, it smells really nice now too.
Don't go trying this yourself; I'm not wanting a queue of Blippers at the door with FUBAR'd washing machines and melted/chewed camera cards.
