Metaphotography

Meta is a prefix sometimes used to mean self, so metalanguage is language used to talk about language, metacognition is thinking about thinking etc.
So I made up (?) the wordmetaphotography for this blip - a photo about photography. Actually, it's my trusty trail cam (AKA camera trap or trophy cam). It confirmed what the footprints told me i.e. that our usual fox visitor was not put off by the snow.
