Snow day

Here is Harvey chasing his cousin Georgia with a snowball. `She liked it at first but then got a bit fed up of Harvey's relentless attempt to drown her in snow.

I got Harvey up and dressed and out in the snow asap after breakfast so we could enjoy it. I dug the sledge out of the back of the shed. We hada great time built a mini snowman, had a snowball fight, did some sledging on the little hill. I had to take him home after an hour as he was crying 'i want to go home Mummy, too cold, it's not funny' bless! When we got home Amelia was laughing at him crying and he kept saying 'not funny Amelia, I crying'. he was fine after his hands warmed up.

I then went back out into the snow with the dog and he LOVED the snow. He was running round the field like a puppy i love to see him enjoying himself so much.

After lunch I put him in bed for a nap as he had a late night last night as Gran was babysitting. Lee's Sister and family came round later and Georgia went upstairs to wake Harvey up. I think he was suprised to see her and was laughing at the fact that she had come to help wake him up. We took the kids back out again in the snow and did some more sledging. Uncle Dan brought his camera and took some amazing pictures including this one.

When we got home I made a yummy chicken casserole out of Lee's slimming world book while he went to play football at the leisure centre. I have had such a great time today with the beautiful family and i love them soooo much !
