Approaching......

......State Pension age......it arrived yesterday....the 'important information' it contained was that I should ring them if I didn't get another letter (contents unspecified) from them by 22nd April....I suspect they're either checking that I'm still in the land of the living, capable of opening an envelope and reading small print AND/OR passing the buck......

I'm one of that not-so-merry band of prospective lady pensioners who had the goalposts moved on them.....I can't tell you how pissed off I was last year when I turned 60 but discovered I still wasn't eligible for a travel pass..........
