Neidpath Castle

It was a lovely day so Mrs D and I went to the Burgh of Peebles today. It is about 45 minutes away from Edinburgh in the Scottish borders. We took a short walk from the town's main street to Neidpath Castle.

The castle was built around 1266 but was modernised in 1700 (according to the sign at the entrance). The sun was just going down behind the trees when I took this.
